Practical leadership. Clear priorities. Ward 11 first.
I believe good decisions start with the right questions:
Who does this affect? What problem are we actually solving? What will it cost? Does it make sense long-term? And will it leave our community better than we found it?
That’s how I’ve approached the work I’ve already done in Minnow Lake — and it’s how I’ll represent Ward 11 at City Hall.
ROADS & INFRASTRUCTURE
Get the basics right.
Reliable roads. Better maintenance. Safer neighbourhoods. Clear project timelines. Infrastructure that keeps pace with the community around it.
Build pest prevention into new development and infrastructure planning — addressing rodent issues before they become neighbourhood problems.
We need to stop allowing small problems to become expensive ones.
Maintain what we have. Plan for what we need. Follow through.
RESPONSIBLE GROWTH
Growth should strengthen our community — not simply happen to it.
Sudbury needs housing, development and investment. I support growth that makes sense.
That means considering the whole picture: infrastructure, traffic, green space, neighbourhood character and the people who already call Ward 11 home.
We can move forward without losing what makes Minnow Lake worth protecting.
COMMUNITY & YOUTH
Strong neighbourhoods need places where people belong.
Parks, rinks, trails, recreation, community spaces and opportunities for young people aren’t extras. They’re part of building healthy, connected neighbourhoods.
I’ve seen what can happen when residents, volunteers, businesses and the City work together.
We don’t always need to spend more to accomplish more. Sometimes we need to work better together.
SPENDING WITH PURPOSE
Spend where it matters. Question where it doesn’t.
Fiscal responsibility isn’t simply spending less.
Sometimes investing today prevents a much larger bill tomorrow. Other times, the responsible decision is questioning whether an expense is producing enough value at all.
For me, the standard is simple:
What are residents getting for their money?
Our tax dollars should solve problems, protect what matters and build something worthwhile.
REPRESENTATION — HERE ALL YEAR
Representation should be visible long after election day.
Residents deserve a councillor who answers, follows up, communicates what’s happening and remains connected to the community they’re representing.
I’ve been showing up in Minnow Lake without a title.
A title won’t be the reason I continue.
HOW I’LL LEAD
I won’t support something simply because “that’s how we’ve always done it.”
And I won’t oppose something simply because it’s new.
I’ll listen. Ask questions. Look at the evidence. Consider the cost. Understand who is affected. And make decisions I can explain and stand behind.
When I don’t know something, I’ll find out. I’ll take the time to give Ward 11 a transparent and informed answer, always.
THIS IS THE FOUNDATION.
My platform will continue to grow as this campaign does.
I’ll be releasing more detailed positions on the issues affecting Ward 11 as I continue meeting with residents, asking questions and doing the research.
I’m not interested in filling a campaign page with promises for the sake of having them.
I’ll tell you where I stand.
I’ll show you how I work.
And when I make a commitment, I’ll mean it.
